We are delighted to share that nominations are open for the Philanthropy Champion Award. This annual accolade honours an Algonquin College employee who has exhibited exceptional philanthropic leadership, significantly benefiting our College and its learners. 

Eligibility: 

• Nominees must be current employees of Algonquin College or former employees within one year of their service end date. 
• Candidates should fulfill at least two of the three criteria specified in the nomination form. 

Award Criteria: 

• Commitment to promoting a culture of philanthropy within the College and the wider community. 
• Significant contribution to the College through championing a fundraising project or initiative. 
• Serving as an ambassador for the College and a role model for colleagues. 

Nomination Committee: The selection of the recipient for this award is determined by the Nomination Committee for the Philanthropy Champion Award, which includes the Director of Philanthropy, Manager of Philanthropy and at least one more employee from the Advancement department. 

Who Can Nominate? 

• Nominations are welcomed from all members of the College community, including employees, board members, alumni, retirees, students and donors. 

Nomination Deadline: 

• Please submit your nominations by Friday, April 26, 2024.
